Pick of the Litter Thrift & Gift Shop (Santa Rosa)
Big new space, growing pains, mixed bag for now.

Pick of the Litter in their new location: Knowing this shop just moved into a much larger location, I’m giving some grace—but overall, we left a little underwhelmed by the selection and slightly overwhelmed by the pricing. There’s a sizable kids’ section with a decent mix of reasonably priced toys, though the stuffed animals felt wildly overpriced ($5 each is a no for this mom).
The store itself felt sparse, which makes sense—it doesn’t quite seem stocked enough to fill the new footprint yet. Clothing takes up a lot of space, but it leaned heavily fast-fashion, with not much excitement on the treasure-hunt front. I did spot Buckle jeans… priced at $80. Great find, yes—but not at thrift-store prices.
There were some affordable home goods and a small furniture area worth browsing. We’ll plan to check back in a year and see how it’s evolved. In the meantime, it worked as a low-pressure outing for the kids to each pick one toy, which was a win.
