Redwood Gospel Mission Thrift Store (Santa Rosa)
Big, a little chaotic, and packed with treasures if you’re in the mood to hunt. Great prices on some things, higher on others — but worth a stop for the variety (and the shoe section alone).

Redwood Gospel Mission is huge—aisles of shoes, kitchenware, home goods, and a legit kids’ section with everything from baby sizes to big-kid racks. It’s not the cleanest or the most curated, and scoring name brands can be hit or miss, but the variety keeps it fun. Prices can swing from “steal of the day” to “you’ve got to be kidding,” especially in the toy aisle.
Make sure you check the white-sticker area—that’s where the brand-new overstock from bigger stores hides out. And if you shop here often (guilty), the rewards program eventually knocks 10% off your haul.
The real star? The shoes. Rows on rows of men’s and women’s styles, both new and gently loved. It’s basically shoe heaven, and walking out without a pair feels almost impossible.
